Before Booking An Appointment

• I'm so happy you're here using my website. 
• You can create a user account on this website to manage bookings, or engage and interact with available features on this website.
• Please be respectful and courteous.
• I use third-party payment processing and booking through Square, Inc.  & PayPal.

• I offer many services that you may choose to engage in. 
• You may become a subscriber and/or user at your own risk, choice, and free will, and may opt-out at any time.
• Much information through the website is FREE and accessible to the public. 
• Other portions of the website may be offered through member subscriptions.
• Appointments can be booked using the Book Appointment page on this website. 
• Public and private events may be offered.
• Workshops and online courses may also be available.
• Customers may choose to engage or purchase services at will.
• I reserve the right to refuse and/or discontinue services to any person/group.

• Full payment is due at the time services are purchased.
• All PURCHASES AND SALES ARE FINAL.
• REFUNDS ARE NOT GIVEN. Instead, sessions can be postponed, rescheduled, or transferred to another person.
• If you are paying in advance for your appointment/session, 50% of this payment hereby constitutes a NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT.
• Create a user account to self-manage your bookings.
• Once the session is complete, you further agree to NOT interrupt, interfere, delay, dispute, cancel, or stop-payment. If you've had the session, you must pay for the session.

• Emergencies may result in the need to cancel and/or reschedule; whereas, every effort will be made to reschedule being that all purchases and sales are final.
• You will be automatically sent reminders of your appointment. You can choose reminders to be sent to your email and/or text messages.
• You can create a user account to manage bookings. 
• You must cancel and/or reschedule at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time.
• There is no fee to reschedule an appointment.
• LATE CANCELLATION FEE: 25% of the full appointment fee.
• There is no fee for late-show; however, your time may be cut short. 
• If you are running late, contact me.
• NO-SHOW FEE: 50% of the full appointment fee.
• COMPLETE CANCELLATION (no reschedule): 50% of payment constitutes a Non-Refundable Deposit; whereas, only 50% of payment may be eligible for a cancellation refund in accordance with this policy.
• PAYMENT CONSTITUTES AGREEMENT OF THE TERMS OF SERVICE.

• This does not apply to public Group Events. Public Group Events held either virtually online or in-person, are specifically intended for production, posting, and promotion. Private sessions are private, personal, and confidential.
• If purchasing/participating in a Group Event, please read the Terms of Service section labeled "Participation in Events, Interviews & Podcast Productions: Consent, Permission, and Release for Use" below.
• Privacy and confidentiality are Sacred. Any information, guidance, or messages, that is offered in private sessions, readings, bookings, or appointments are kept confidential.
• You may choose to have your private session recorded, and you must request this at the beginning of your session. 
• You may request to Zoom record your session to your local device at the beginning of your session upon request. 
• If you choose to independently record your private session to your local device (example: recording as a voice memo on your cell phone), please notify me verbally.
• Opportunities for publically sharing Soul Reading experiences may be offered; whereas, you can opt in of your own free will. 
• Clients can share any/all of their session. 
• You may request in writing to publically post your private session; whereas, I reserve the right to either give, deny, extend or revoke my consent in writing.
• By subscribing and/or creating a user account, you consent to receive emails about my services, promotions, postings, events, general relevant information, and other updates.
• Your privacy is sacred. Under no circumstance is your information ever shared or sold.
• You can change your personal user preferences and options at any time.
• Although information obtained is non-medical, email and contact systems meet the highest rating for HIPAA compliance, security, and confidentiality.

• My website is hosted by GoDaddy and is monitored for security with nightly screenings; whereas every effort is made to optimize website functions, safety and security.
• I use Square, Inc for booking and payments, as well as PayPal. They have tons of security features, practices, and policies of their own that protect both you and me. You can visit their website for more information.

• Feel free to leave comments and feedback. I'd love to hear from you.
• I reserve the right to monitor user comments, whereas, I may remove content deemed threatening or obscene.  
• Please be respectful and non-judgemental. Keep it clean.

• This section applies to public group events, either virtually online, or in-person.
• This section does NOT apply to private readings, private consultations, or private sessions. Privacy and confidentiality are Sacred. Information in private appointments is confidential; whereas, sharing may done so by the client and only by consent. 
• I hereby give consent and permission to Maria Lupita Gurule to record the appearance, physical likeness and/or voice on videotape, on film, or digital video disk, or other means, and/or take photographs of my appearance.
• I hereby freely and voluntarily consent to the use and publication of my name, participation, picture, and/or likeness by Maria Luptia Gurule. 
• I understand I can revoke this consent at any time in writing. 
• I acknowledge that Maria Lupita Gurule is the sole owner of all rights in, and to this visual and/or sound production and/or photograph(s) and the recordings, thereof and that she has the right to use or reproduce the resulting images and/or sound.
• I understand I will receive no compensation for my appearance or for participation in said events or productions. 
• A summation of my Consent is offered to me when purchasing tickets for events serving as a reminder of disclosed consent before participating in any such event, interview, and/or production, and fully understand the contents, meaning and impact of this consent. 
• I understand that I am free to address any specific questions and have done so prior to agreeing this consent.

• I do not practice medicine, nor do I claim to. My services are not a substitute for medical, mental, or emotional health treatment.
• Should you choose to purchase services, I will provide you with the best quality service in the amount of time we have.

• I HAVE NO CONTROL OVER WHO (guide, being, loved one) WILL COME THROUGH OR WHAT INFORMATION (messages, guidance, wisdom) WILL BE PROVIDED DURING A SESSION AND MAKE NO GUARANTEES.

• I have no responsibility or liability for the choices you make or do not make; more so, I have no liability for the result or outcome of your choices, actions, or inactions.
• Your use of my website, and/or purchasing services is done so at your sole discretion, own risk, free-will, and choice. 
• All products and services are 'as is' and 'as available' for your use at your sole discretion, without warranties, conditions of any kind, either express or implied.
• You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Maria Lupita Gurule, my employees, affiliates, agents, and/or independent contractors.

• IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUE, PLEASE COMMUNICATE WITH ME. If after communication we still have an unresolved issue, we agree to a formal process of court-monitored mediation for dispute resolution; whereas we shall equally share in the expense and cost of mediation. 

The formal Terms of Service (download and view above) includes sections for:

•  "Severability," which means that this agreement severs if unlawful, which it isn't, since an attorney was paid to draw this up under New Mexico law. 
• "Termination," which means that the Terms probably existed before using my services and that I can terminate the terms if needed (if I end business.)
• "Entire Agreement," which means that we agree to the terms, and I can enforce any part of it. If I choose not to enforce, they still remain in effect.
• "Governing Law and Dispute Resolution," which means that if we have an issue we cannot resolve, we agree to final and binding resolution through mediation at our own and equal expense.
• "Changes to Terms of Service," which means that I may change or update these Terms of Service at any time, whereas I may or may not notify you, as long as I post and maintain them publicly here on my website. It is up to you to review the Terms of Service at will and is required before purchasing services.
